A private winery tour and tasting is the perfect solution when “something different” is a descriptive used for your search criteria. For business entities, we also offer unique team building ideas from blind tastings to hands-on-harvesting in an extraordinary venue! Complete packages are available upon request.

Private Wine Tasting and Tours
Looking for something new and exciting to do for your special event? How about a wine tasting and tour with wine education thrown in for good measure, all in the company of your own private group?

Guided winery tours share all aspects of the winemaking process, starting with gaining an appreciation for the saying “great wines begin in the vineyard”. In addition, the tour offers detailed information from harvesting of the grapes through the aging and bottling of the wine. Following the tour is a private tasting in our unique wine cave.

All tours/tastings run approximately 1.5 – 2 hours in duration and are guided by an experienced Unionville Vineyards staff member. The private tasting takes place in our unique wine cave furnished with barrel tables and stools. All tours can include a walk in the vineyard (weather permitting.) Minimum group size is 15 persons.

Choose from the following packages:

• Bottled Tour: Tasting of 5-6 bottled wines (both reds and whites) with information about production and characteristics of each selected wine in the cave room. Private tour of our winemaking facilities is included. (1.5hrs)
• Bottle and Barrel Tour: Tasting of 4-5 bottled wines (both reds and whites) along with 2 barrel tastings in the cave room. Light snack (pretzels and crackers) provided as well. Private tour of our winemaking facilities is included. (1.5 hrs)
• Wine with Cheese Tour: Wine and artisan cheese pairing package includes enlightening education on how and why pairing select wines with select cheeses enhances the overall sensory experience. Includes tasting of 5-6 bottled wines each paired with a complementary artisan cheese and accompanied by fruit, assorted crackers and nuts. Private tour of our winemaking facilities also included. (2.0 hrs)
