WHAT IS YOUR CAPACITY? //

We offer a number of venue spaces. For smaller parties, our Cave Room space offers 36 seated or 50 cocktail-style and includes barrel tables and stools. The Winery Floor space allows for 60 seated or 75 cocktail style. The Tasting Room Space allows for 50 guests cocktail style, for an after-hours event.  A combination of any two or three of these spaces could be done to accommodate a larger guest count. We also offer the first floor of the 1858 Farmhouse for groups of 30 seated or 60 cocktail style. Seasonally, for Weddings or large scale Vineyard Events, we offer a high-peak tented patio space along with the first floor of the 1858 Farmhouse, Home Vineyard Ceremony Site, Winery Floor, and Cave Room.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR MY EVENT? //

For all wedding events which include a Ceremony and Reception, the rental is for an event is five (5) hours. For intimate parties, events are generally a 3 hour time frame. Events may be held seven days a week, twelve months a year at Unionville Vineyards up until 11:00 pm.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY? //

WHAT IS YOUR “HOLD” POLICY? //

We can hold a date for up to seven days at no charge. At the end of those seven days, we will either release the date if we don’t hear back from you, or we can reserve it for you with a 50% deposit and the contract signed and returned to Unionville Vineyards.

DO YOU CATER? //

Unionville has an exclusive catering agreement with Main Street Fine Catering of Princeton. Main Street is the only caterer in New Jersey to win “best of” awards from both The Knot and WeddingWire for 7 consecutive years. They are very familiar with Unionville’s facilities, and are best able to deliver a memorable and delicious dining experience, from passed hor d’oeuvres or food stations to multi-course wine paired dinners. You will work directly with your caterer to plan the menu of your dreams, as well as linens, dishes, decorations and any additional furniture required for your special day.

MAY WE HAVE A DJ OR BAND? //

Yes. The Township of East Amwell requires that all music that can be heard outside of the winery building must end no later than the end of twilight. Music may still be played inside of the winery provided that the sound does not carry outdoors. Sunrisesunset.com provides sun rise and sun set times for each calendar date. At dusk, the DJ or band may move inside to the Winery floor and your party with music and dancing can continue inside our winery’s fun and unique atmosphere.

IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED? //

Main Street Fine Catering can also provide bar service with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with the proper license and permit. Only Unionville Vineyards wines may be served at events, and we require one case of wine be purchased per every 20 adults in attendance. Wine that is not consumed during the event will be taken home by the event host.

ARE CANDLES ALLOWED? //

Candles may be used provided they are kept in enclosed glass containers, such as votives, mason jars or lanterns.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? //

We will work with you , and Main Street Fine Catering, to determine a rain plan for your special day. Any decisions regarding your event will not be made without your approval.

ARE THERE ROOMS FOR THE BRIDE/GROOM OR WEDDING PARTY TO GET READY? //

Yes, we offer the first floor of our 1858 Farmhouse as a hide-a-way for wedding parties to use before the ceremony or during the reception as a private space. 

MAY WE SET UP OR HAVE ACCESS TO THE VENUE BEFORE OUR RENTAL BEGINS? //

Main Street Fine Catering is a full service catering company and will take the responsibility of any set up involved in your special day. Any additional decorations or centerpieces can begin set up 1 hour prior to the start time of your event. Any special accommodations must be approved by Unionville Vineyards in advance. 

DO YOU PROVIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR ALL EVENTS? //

Unionville Vineyards owns enough tables and chairs for up to 65 guests and these are generally provided for smaller parties. For larger scale weddings, the renting of tables and chairs can be coordinated through Main Street Fine Catering.

WHERE DO MY GUESTS PARK?

On the day of your event, guests will have ample parking on site. We ask that private event guests park away from the Tasting Room guest parking, as the Tasting Room remains open daily from 12-5 pm.

WHEN IS MY REHEARSAL TIME? //

Your complementary one hour rehearsal time will be scheduled as close to your wedding day as possible. The day and time will be based upon the availability of Unionville Vineyards.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION//

Food, decorations, entertainment, floral arrangements are not included in the Vineyard Event Wedding Package.
