Our flagship single-vineyard chardonnay shines in the 2017 vintage, which was a fantastic year for barrel-fermented white wine. Aromas of Acacia and fresh lemon zest flood the senses and provide an excellent introduction to a fruit-focused palate of cut pear, lemon custard, and toasted coconut. The Pheasant Hill Chardonnay is always a layered wine with these bright fruit notes giving way to precise acidity, subtle oak presence, and a creamy, textured finish. This wine will pair beautifully with stuffed halibut, tarragon-dijon chicken, or oysters on the half shell. 115 cases produced. 90 points, James Suckling. abv 13%
