This is a fresh, fruity, and fun Pinot Noir- a blend of Pinot fruit from the Pheasant Hill and Amwell Ridge Vineyards. It has a really pleasant sweet, fresh mushroom note on the nose, like opening a paper bag of recently-foraged oyster mushrooms. As expected, there’s bountiful red fruit character too- bruised raspberry, boysenberry on the nose, with cranberry joining in on the palate. Taste for a savory element like bay leaf there as well. This wine was made for fall and winter dinner tables. 12.3%abv. 100 cases produced.
