Join winemaker Conor Quilty and Mark Drabich, owner of Metropolitan Seafood for a fantastic harvest-themed dinner, celebrating the bounty of Hunterdon County and beyond. Dinner guests will have the opportunity to observe harvest season in action, as we will have wine making in progress at the time of this dinner. The menu:
A Mediterranean assortment table, with dips, spreads, tapenades, and tapas
Welcome Hors d'Oeuvres- 6:30
pumpkin harissa "hummus" with sumac-scented focaccia bread
smoked tuna paté
rock shrimp fritters
stuffed pancetta parmesan mussels
grilled calamari with an eggplant heirloom tomato salad
sautéed skate over roasted pepper farfalline arcobaleno with toasted garlic crumbs
chianti-braised pork cheeks with duck fat-roasted new potatoes
cranberry pear galette with maple cream
Each course will be paired with a wine from Unionville Vineyards. Guests are welcome to a tour with Conor on the crush pad and in the barrel building to observe harvest season at 5:45pm.
