2023 Pheasant Hill Chardonnay

The nose is surprisingly subtle; I find delicate herbal notes such as lemon thyme and spearmint tucked alongside white peach and tangerine. This belies a mouthful of tropical and ripe citrus flavor once sipped. There's pineapple, melon, and lemon curd, girdled by the classic racing acidity that declares this a classic Unionville Chardonnay. Shrimp scampi with angel hair would be a perfect partner to this fresh, fruity glass. 93 cases produced.
