2023 Hunterdon Mistral Rouge

Usually the beefiest of the three, this version of the Mistral Rouge is deliciously smooth and velvety. Medium bodied with tamed tannins, a subtle chalkiness gives great length, and flavors of slightly early picked plums provide a juicy, acidic component. This is the perfect red for the grill, BBQ chicken and grilled vegetables will pair great with this lighter bodied expression of our take on the Southern Rhône.

74% Syrah, 25% Counoise, 1% Viognier 12.2% abv
